Antidepressants are one of most consumed type of prescription drug in the United States .

In the tropical area of Latin America, we find "ALEGRIA DE CAMPO"; a plant that has been studied and investigated by many universities.

Alegría Plus is a product that contains a selection and mix of medicinal plants proven to help in the treatment of depression, lack of spirit and lack of concentration. It has been used by the indigenous communities of the Amazon for many generations and studied in our laboratories for more than 10 years.

Composed by two plants with minor antidepressant actions.

At our Research Unit in the Juan N. Corpas Clinic, several studies were made which demonstrate the effectiveness of this product. One of the studies, carried out on 150 patients, during a period of 12 weeks demonstrated the following results: For the experiment, patients were chosen, accordingly to the Hamilton value scale for the depression, where the values were greater or equal than 18.

After 4 weeks of treatment, 130 patients (86,67 %) showed values smaller than 18, 17 patients (11,33 %) did not present variation according to their initial values and 3 patients (2,00 %) showed values greater than 18.
